How to win Pai Gow Poker

Pai gow poker (also called double-hand poker) is a version of pai gow that is played with playing cards, instead of traditional pai gow's Chinese dominoes. The game of pai gow poker was created in 1985 in the United States by Sam Torosian, owner of the Bell Card Club.

Pai gow poker is a relatively new casino table game that has ancient roots. It’s a card variation of the Chinese domino game pai gow, which originated more than 1,000 years ago during the Song Dynasty in 960 AD. Today, you can play pai gow poker in casinos from San Diego to Macau.

Pai gow poker is known for its slow rate of play, where many hands end in a tie, resulting in a more relaxed pace game. Which isn’t to say it’s not exciting. With dice, a wild card, side bets and multiple layers of strategy required in every hand, it’s easy to see why pai gow poker has become one of the most popular table games on the casino floor.

To help explain how to play, we’ve enlisted the expert advice of Allyson Ott, CEO of The Casino Institute, a school for professional dealers. 카지노사이트존

HOW TO PLAY PAI GOW POKER

Each Player will receive a seven-card hand. The Players arrange their seven cards to make two hands: a five-card hand and a two- card hand. The five-card hand must always be of higher poker rank than the two-card hand.

In the absence of i-verify, the Dealer will shake a dice cup containing three dice to determine which Player will receive the first hand. The Dealer will count counter-clockwise from the Banker position (number one) and deal the seven hands (each containing seven cards) clockwise to each position whether there is a Player there or not.

A Player may request that their hand be set according to the “House Way”, which is a predetermined method of setting the hands. The Dealer will always set the House Hand according to the “House Way.”

After all Players’ hands are set, the Dealer will expose the Banker’s hand. The Dealer will set the Bank hand according to the “House Way.” The Banker’s hand is then compared to each Player’s hand and wagers decided.
